The city of Charlotte’s Neighborhood and Business Services division said security- and façade-improvement grants are available for apartment communities.
The façade-improvement program’s mission is to remove blight, enhance the appearance of older apartments and bring parking and landscaping into compliance with codes, according to an NBS newsletter.
The mission of the security-improvement program is to develop relationships between owners and managers of apartments and police officers and make apartment communities safer for residents, the newsletter says.
More information about the grants can be found on the city’s Business Financial Programs Web page or by contacting Chris Hemans, [email protected].
