The Ryan Homes division of NVR has plans for new single-family homes to be built in Gastonia at its Rosegate project.
The Gastonia-based homebuilder said it chose the Rosegate location because of its proximity to the YMCA and other amenities in Gastonia.
The homes will range from 2,072 to 3,345 square feet and are set for sites that are roughly half an acre apiece. The company is also promoting the homes as Energy Star-qualified and says they would have energy bills up to 30 percent less than standard homes. Company representatives did not return calls asking for the number of homes under construction.
