Twenty-three U.S. housing markets qualify as “improving,” but Charlotte is not one of them, according to a report released last week.
The second edition of the National Association of Home Builders/ First American Improving Markets Index is based on housing permits, employment and housing prices.
Twelve markets made the first edition of the list, which was released in September.
Charlotte was also not on that list, either.
North Carolina places that made the October list: Winston-Salem and Fayetteville.
