Charlotte metropolitan area home prices fell 3.9 percent in July from a year ago, according to a report Tuesday from Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller index.
But prices were up 0.1 percent in July from June, which had seen a 1.9 percent increase over May.
Twenty U.S. metro areas are tracked in the report, which showed home prices down 4.1 percent in July from the same month a year ago.
