Crescent Resources breaks ground on $50M apartment project

Real estate developer Crescent Resources said it starts construction today on a $50 million apartment project in Raleigh.

Gallery at Cameron Village, at Clark Avenue and Oberlin Road, will feature 282 apartments and 16,000 square feet of retail space, Charlotte-based Crescent said.

The first apartments are scheduled to be available in the spring of 2013.

“Cameron Village is the ultimate shopping and dining destination in Raleigh, and we are excited to deliver the first multifamily experience in Cameron Village,” said Brian Natwick, president of Crescent’s multifamily division. “Gallery at Cameron Village will bring luxury apartment homes with a unique design to complement this extraordinary location.”

Crescent will seek Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for the development.

Cline Design Associates of Raleigh is the architect, Historical Concepts of Atlanta is the design consultant, Stewart Engineering of Raleigh is the planner and civil engineer and LandDesign of Charlotte is the landscape architect.

Kettler Inc. will be the residential property manager, and Cox Schepp Construction is the general contractor.
