There wasn’t much of a shakeup on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission’s executive board today after the commissioners decided to keep Stephen Rosenburgh and Yolanda Johnson as chairman and vice chairwoman, respectively.
No other commissioners were nominated for the posts during the noon work session meeting of the commission at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center.
Rosenburgh said this year will be his last one as a planning commissioner. This also marks his third year as chairman of the commission. He said during the meeting that he wants to focus on increasing trust between the commissioners and improving communication with city planning staff.
“It’s improved, but it’s not where it needs to be,” he said about communication with planning staff.
The next full planning commission meeting will be noon July 11.
