Campus Crest Communities today said it had a net loss of $474,000 in the first quarter, or 2 cents per share, down from a net loss of $3.2 million in the same quarter last year before the company went public.
The Charlotte-based student housing owner, developer and manager had $23.8 million in revenue in the quarter, down from $28.5 million a year ago.
Campus Crest Communities owns, manages and operates 17,064 beds and 6,324 units, including those at properties under construction.
