BofA director to retire

Bank of America today said its board director will not seek another term at the annual meeting of shareholders in May.

William Boardman, 69, who agreed to come out of retirement to join the board in 2009, said he plans to return to retirement now that his two years on the board are up.

Boardman was chairman of Visa International from 1996 until his retirement in 2005.
