Exactly a week after announcing the hiring of an attorney to create an in-house legal department, Crescent Resources today said it has hired a vice president of human resources, a post designed to guide talent development.
The Charlotte-based real estate development company said Alice Zwahlen is a former business partner and human resources generalist for Premier Inc., a performance-improvement alliance of more than 2,400 U.S. hospitals and 70,000 other health care sites.
“Alice has particular expertise in the area of talent management, with a strong focus on recruiting and building teams, leadership development, employee learning and employee relations,” Crescent President and CEO Larry Corson said. “As Crescent grows and evolves, Alice’s background will become increasingly important to us.”
Established in 1969, Crescent owns and manages business and industrial parks and shopping centers.
Last week, Crescent announced the hiring of Charlotte real estate attorney Nina Shor to create an in-house legal department and serve as the company’s general counsel.
