PITTSBORO, N.C. — Gov. Beverly Perdue is bringing together an eclectic group to highlight a new effort to reduce North Carolina government bureaucracy.
Perdue scheduled an announcement at a Chatham County elementary school today to discuss how her administration will better work for citizens, businesses and community groups.
Joining Perdue will be representatives of the League of Municipalities, North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association and a nearby chapter of the YMCA.
The announcement is separate from her expected announcement next month to unveil her government reorganization plan.
