CHARLOTTE — Business owners will have an opportunity to discuss how the city can better support small businesses at a forum on March 2. The City of Charlotte’s Business Advisory Committee will host the event at the Government Center.
According to Committee Chairman Scott Stone, the forum is designed to gather input for the Small Business Strategic Plan, which covers everything from establishing better loan opportunities for start-ups to helping companies win city contracts.
Stone said the Business Advisory Committee has already gathered information from a variety of small business associations and groups, but the forum will allow them to hear directly from business owners themselves.
