Sidewalk slam 

Elizabeth Schnider lost her temper and her sidewalk — all in the same meeting. Last week, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Zoning Board of Adjustment told Schnider that her roughly $3 million Lake Wylie property features a sidewalk that's too close to the lake and more concrete than regulations to control runoff allow.
