Atlanta-based Epcon Communities plans to develop a 55-and-older community in the town of Stallings, just over the Mecklenburg County line in Union County. It’s being called the Courtyards at Weddington Road.

Union County to offer digital recording of land records in next month or 2 (access required)

Union County’s building inspection department moved Thursday into renovated space on the ground floor of the Union County Government Center, 500 N. Main St., in Monroe.
