Apartment apprehension 

GCI is looking to build about 250 apartments on the site next to Providence Pointe and has asked the city to rezone the property from “MX-2 mixed-use” to “UR-2 urban residential conditional” so the company can get started on its project. Opponents, though, say they are worried about, among other things, the project bringing more traffic to the area.
