Construction set to start on Northlake Plaza (access required)

The first building in Northlake Plaza, a planned shopping center across from Northlake Mall on W.T. Harris Boulevard, has been permitted by Mecklenburg County. Trent Gustafson, president of Charlotte-based Percival McGuire, the developer on the project, said he expects construction on the $902,000, 9,500-square-foot building to start within 30 days. He said the building should be finished in six months.
