Foreclosure filings in Mecklenburg County dropped by 23 percent in April compared with a year ago, according to a report from the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts. Mecklenburg County foreclosure cases rose 107 percent in February from the same month last year, according to the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts.
