For Charlotte-based Hendrick Construction, the restaurant scene is cooking. Hendrick Construction has finished work on two eateries that opened in January. A third one the company worked on is set to open this month.

Hendrick awarded $6M N.C. Zoo

Charlotte-based general contractor Hendrick Construction has won a $6 million contract to expand the North Carolina Zoo’s polar bear exhibit. The company announced the award this week. Hendrick will build a 5,500-square-foot holding facility with a maternity den, a 4,500-square-foot visitor building and an 800-square-foot interpretive viewing shelter for visitors.
