Shortly after after Whole Foods opened its first Charlotte store, Harris Teeter had its own news. The chain announced that it would convert two area Lowes Foods locations to concept stores carrying cigars, specialty cheeses and a large variety of wine and beer.
In 2012, Harris Teeter is providing some good news for local construction crews. This year it will remodel five of its stores in the Queen City, plus tear down a store to replace it with a larger one.
