Late last month, the Charlotte office of Dallas-based Balfour Beatty started roughly $1 million in cosmetic and repair work at the Uptown entertainment complex that was mired in bankruptcy proceedings until a judge in March OK’d a liquidation plan that transferred EpiCentre ownership to Blue Air 2010.
