Charlotte planners ok changes for movie parking, short-term care facilities 

Fewer off-street parking spaces would be required for movie theaters and short-term-care facilities would be able to treat more patients under two zoning text amendments that won approval from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission’s zoning committee Tuesday.
