As Charlotte shakes off the effects of the Great Recession, those in the commercial real estate industry say they are seeing a rise in leases for small clients. But the same can’t be said for big-box tenants, who remain on the sidelines, hardly moving into new spaces or opening new locations.
Charlotte Commercial Properties has inked a deal to lease 1,200 square feet at Calcutta Office Park. The lease, signed earlier this month, is a three year lease for a non-profit counseling program, said Charlotte Commercial Properties President Bob Pinto.
