Campus Crest adds executive vice president

Campus Crest Communities said it has hired Robert Dann as an executive vice president and division president of Campus Crest Real Estate Management and Campus Crest Development. The appointment is effective April 18. Most recently, Dann was president of CSM Lodging in Minneapolis. Charlotte-based Campus Crest develops student housing.


Campus Crest declares 16-cent dividend

Campus Crest Communities has declared a dividend of 16 cents a share. The Charlotte-based developer of student housing said the dividend is payable April 20 to shareholders of record as of April 11. Campus Crest, which went public last year, owns interests in 27 student-housing properties containing about 5,048 apartment units and 13,580 beds.


Campus Crest Communities logs net loss of $1.6M after going public

In its first quarter as a publicly traded company, Charlotte-based student housing developer Campus Crest Communities had a net loss of $1.6 million, or 5 cents a share, in the fourth quarter of 2010. But that was down from a net loss of $7.8 million in the same quarter of 2009.
