Construction has begun on Bellamy Homes’ project for ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” but it looks like the home may be one of the last ever built for the show. ABC has told the Hollywood Reporter the network is cancelling the show after its ninth season.

At a press conference this morning in the Berewick Community in the Steele Creek area, Charlotte-based Bellamy Homes said it has been picked as the contractor to head up an “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” project in the area.
