Lomax Properties may soon start work on a 270-unit multifamily housing project in Charlotte if a rezoning petition goes its way. The Greensboro-based company is looking at 2014 Millerton Ave. as a site for the possible project. Construction has begun on Bellamy Homes’ project for ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” but it looks like the home may be one of the last ever built for the show. ABC has told the Hollywood Reporter the network is cancelling the show after its ninth season.
