NCDOT to host meeting for subcontractors on I-85 widening project (access required)

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will hold an outreach meeting for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise subcontractors about work on an upcoming project that will double the capacity of a stretch of Interstate 85 in Cabarrus County. The meeting is to be held at 11 a.m. on July 24 at the Metrolina Regional Traffic Management Center at 2327 Tipton Drive.

Public meetings scheduled on I-77 toll lanes (access required)

The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold two public meetings and hearings to discuss its proposal to construct high occupancy lanes that could also be used by drivers who choose to pay tolls along 25 miles of Interstate 77 from the Brookshire Freeway at Exit 11 to Exit 36 in Iredell County.
