An advocacy group for the rights of property owners within a homeowners association is holding a meeting Sept. 16 to discuss proposed legislation to establish an Office of Protection for HOA Property Owners.
The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Morrison Regional Library at 7015 Morrison Blvd., Charlotte.
The speakers will include Ole Madsen, CEO of HEAR4nc (Homeowners for Education, Advocacy & Rights), and Al Ripley, director of the consumer and housing project for the N.C. Justice Center.
The meeting is being sponsored by the Coalition for Homeowner Association Reform.
