Duke Energy money market fund returns more than bank (access required)

Though this Duke Energy product walks and talks like a money market account and though you can write checks on your balance, the people at Duke consider it an investment in their PremierNotes. The 1.41 percent you would get from DUK is enormously better than the miserly 0.35 percent an ignoramus would get from this bank.
