City needs rezoning for planned light rail Park-and-Ride station (access required)

With the ground already broken and funding approved for the 9.3-mile, $1.16 billion Lynx Blue Line Extension, the wheels are in motion for the light rail trains to go as far north as UNCC by 2017. But that’s only if the city doesn’t get in its own way in the process.
