CHARLOTTE – Charlotte Douglas International Airport has released a Request for Proposals from real estate brokers looking to act as a consultant to the airport for land acquisitions as it relates to future expansion plans.
Among the requirements in the RFP for potential consultants:
- The consultant must be a licensed North Carolina real estate broker who is, or is capable of being within 90 days, a member of Carolina Multiple Listing Services and is able to provide the airport with on-site computer access to these services.
- Project personnel should have prior experience in relocation services projects.
- There should be at least one on-site, full-time person with consulting, management, and relocation services experience.
- The consultant should have appraisal experience.
The RFP says that respondents will be judged on experience on similar projects, qualifications, experience in aviation, and knowledge of FAA standards and regulations, among other things.
Firms interested in responding to the RFP are asked to submit three proposals to the airport no later than 12 p.m. on July 12.
