MATTHEWS -- Here’s a new wrinkle that suggests the housing market for empty nesters might be on the upswing.
A trio of Charlotteans is buying up lots and partly built homes in neighborhoods aimed at the 55-plus market and completing the work begun by developers and builders who abandoned them.
