HUNTERSVILLE — Legendary Communities appears poised to build four large homes in its upper-end Mirabella development off Huntersville-Concord and Asbury Chapel roads.

Legendary, based in the Atlanta suburb of Douglasville, Ga., will spend between $301,386 and $406,660 to build each of the single-family homes, according to building permits issued to Legendary last week.

The homes will range in size from 4,362 to 5,887 square feet apiece and feature four to six bedrooms and three to five bathrooms.

Existing new homes in Mirabella of approximately the same size are for sale in the upper $300,000 range to the upper $400,000 range, according to several real estate websites. The homes have higher-end features, such as marble kitchen countertops, 10-foot ceilings, curved glass walls and cedar shake exteriors.

Besides North Carolina, Legendary Communities builds homes in subdivisions in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.

Legendary officials did not immediately return calls for comment.
