Proffitt Dixon Partners has contract on city-owned uptown site
Those involved in deal say apartments planned

Wyatt Dixon and Stuart Proffitt confirmed this week that they have a contract to buy the property, part of a 12 1/2-acre, five-parcel chunk of land that the city of Charlotte has been trying to sell for six years.
