HUNTERSVILLE — More than 200 apartments might become part of the Bryton development, a massive, 428-acre mixed-use project off Alexanderana Road between Everette Keith Road and North Carolina Highway 115 along Huntersville’s southern border with Charlotte.
The city of Huntersville is considering a preliminary plan, being proposed by a company called Integra and the Design Resource Group, for Bryton Apartments.
The plan calls for 265 apartments, along with a pool, to be built on 14.49 acres.
The apartments are only one component of Phase 1A of Bryton, which American Asset Corp. is developing.
In July, the town’s Board of Commissioners gave American Asset preliminary approval for a 151,060-square-foot Walmart to occupy 17.5 acres, as well as four smaller commercial out-parcels.
