New Urbanism champ dies
Doug Boone gave birth to New Urbanism in the Charlotte area, bringing to life more than 70 new developments in the region along the way. But it wasn’t always an easy birth. Boone died on Thursday, Aug. 2, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He was 66.
