Developer Crescent Resources said Tuesday that it has started construction on another phase of home sites in the Springfield community in Fort Mill, S.C.
In the phase — the second announced by Crescent for Springfield this year — Miami-based homebuilder Lennar will buy 63 sites, Crescent, which is based in Charlotte, said in a press release.
Crescent said that, thanks to the Lennar deal, Crescent is adding a total of 106 home sites to Springfield this year; in May Crescent said Houston-based David Weekley Homes was buying 38 Springfield sites, while Charlotte-based Evans Coghill Homes was buying five.
Those 43 home sites constituted Crescent’s first Springfield phase this year.
