Residents, planning commissioners not sold on south Charlotte project
GCI is looking to build about 250 apartments on the site next to Providence Pointe and has asked the city to rezone the property from “MX-2 mixed-use” to “UR-2 urban residential conditional” so the company can get started on its project. Opponents, though, say they are worried about, among other things, the project bringing more traffic to the area.Login required
