Cassidy Turley inks flex-space leases

Flex space has become a hot commodity in recent weeks for the Charlotte office of Missouri-based Cassidy Turley.

Flex space can be leased as offices or warehouses, as well as for renewals and expansions for existing clients.

“Our team has seen touring activity go up significantly and have inked quite a few new transactions in the last month or so in the flex space sector,” said Joe Franco, an associate vice president for Cassidy Turley.

K&K Associates renewed a lease and expanded into 8,000 square feet at Coffey Creek Business Park at 4107 Rose Lake Drive. Cassidy Turley Associate Vice President Kris Westmoreland
represented the landlord, Charleston, S.C.–based Ziff Properties. There was no broker for the tenant.

Marvin Concepts leased 2,400 square feet at Maple Crest Industrial Park at 2725 Westinghouse Blvd. Jay Vaughan with NAI Southern Real Estate represented the tenant and Westmoreland represented Ziff Properties, the landlord.

Franco and Cassidy Turley Senior Vice President Mike Kemmet represented landlord Ziff Properties in another deal at Maple Crest with a security company for 4,000 square feet. Franco declined to name the tenant. Don Beck of Beck Commercial represented the tenant in the deal.

Innovative Driver Services renewed a lease and expanded their operation to 2,850 square feet at Atrium Corporate Center at 4421 Stuart Andrew Blvd. Franco and Cassidy Turley Associate Vice President David Dorsch represented landlord Washington-based Orion Real Estate Advisors. Kemmet, Dorsch and Franco represented landlord Atapco Properties in five leases at University Executive Park. The deals involved two medical tenants and three office tenants, but Franco declined to name the tenants.

Paragon Homes leased 1,300 square feet at Pineville Towne Center at 600 Towne Center Blvd. in Pineville. John Box with Artha Associates represented the tenant while Cassidy Turley Associate Vice President Kris Westmoreland represented the landlord.
