On Wednesday, The Mecklenburg Times’ 2012 Influential Women honorees attended the third annual Denim & Diamonds event, held at Charlotte City Club.

Influential Women, which is in its fourth year, honors 50 women who have made a positive difference in the Charlotte area. The Denim & Diamonds social gathering is held before the Influential Women awards event, which is set for May 4 at Marriott City Center.

Influential Women sponsor Morrison Smith Jewelers supplied the pricey jewelry the women borrowed to wear at the Denim & Diamonds gathering. Influential Women sponsor Charlotte Radiology provided desserts for D&D.
