Mecklenburg building permit extensions have expired

Project permits that were kept from expiration due to no commencement of work within six months or issue or discontinuation of work for 12 months are no longer protected under the Permit Extension Act of 2009, according to information from the Mecklenburg County Land Use & Environmental Services Agency.
