Charlotte home prices drop 
2.6 percent

Home prices in the Charlotte metropolitan area took a 2.6 percent dive in the third quarter from the same period last year, according to the Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices released this week.

Meanwhile, home prices nationally fell by more than 3 percent over the same period.

From August to September, prices in the Charlotte area fell 0.9 percent.
