Charlotte ULI plans sustainability discussion
How Charlotte can create a sustainable urban core and attract green-minded companies will be the subject of an upcoming Urban Land Institute Charlotte district event.
Creating a Global Model for Sustainability will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday at Charlotte County Club, 2465 Mecklenburg Ave.
Vincent Davis, director of Duke Energy’s Smart Energy Now Community Partnerships, and Tom Shircliff, co-founder and principal of Intelligent Buildings Group, will be the speakers.
ULI is a Washington, D.C.-based organization that researches emerging land-use trends and issues, including retail, residential, office and industrial development.
