N.C. construction employment falls

Construction employment in North Carolina fell 2.8 percent in October from the same month a year ago, the Associated General Contractors of America said this week.
The state lost 4,900 construction jobs during the period, bringing total construction employment to 170,600.
From September to October, construction employment in the state dropped 1 percent.
