Mecklenburg County foreclosure filings declined by more than half in October compared with a year ago, according to the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts.
The office reported 519 foreclosure filings in October, down nearly 57 percent from the 1,198 filings in October 2010 and nearly 28 percent lower than the 719 filed in September. That ...
