Huntersville’s Town Board voted last week to move forward in securing a $6 million loan to purchase a foreclosed building in a mixed-used development to serve as a new police station.
Commissioner Ron Julian said the town will purchase the 27,000-square-foot building in The Park for $4.2 million.
