Cabarrus County awards $25,000 meth lab cleanup contract

Contaminant Controls, a Fayetteville-based company with an office in Kannapolis, has won a $25,000 contract from Cabarrus County to provide cleanup services for methamphetamine labs until state and federal funding is restored.
The company’s website indicates it cleans up asbestos, lead, mold and construction demolition, among other things.
