Mecklenburg County foreclosure filings declined more than 29 percent in September compared with a year ago.
That’s according to the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts.
The office reported 719 foreclosure filings in September, down 30 percent from 1,025 the same month last year and 1 percent lower than the 729 in August.
