Kannapolis to raze blighted building

The city of Kannapolis will begin demolishing a dilapidated commercial building at 400 Old Centergrove Road next week, Kannapolis planning director Ben Warren said.
Mooresville-based Stonewall Co., the property’s owner, failed to repair or demolish the building by the city’s Sept. 16 deadline, Warren said.
Stonewall officials could not be reached for comment.
