Charlotte-Mecklenburg zoning committee backs residential design standards

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission’s zoning committee has voted to recommend to the City Council that it adopt the first phase of residential design standards for single-family homes.
The commission voted in favor of the recommendation in a 4-2 vote Wednesday.
Commissioners Claire Fallon and Lucia Griffith cast the dissenting votes.
