To better serve the real estate, development and construction industries, The Mecklenburg Times is accepting reader questions to pose to Charlotte mayoral candidates Anthony Foxx and Scott Stone for a special pre-elections edition of the paper.

The newspaper is looking for burning questions on topics that specifically pertain to the three industries.

Deadline for submissions is Friday. Email questions to deon.roberts@mecktimes.com.

Those submitting questions are asked to provide a first and last name and the company they work for.

The election is Nov. 8.
