On Thursday, a disaster loan center closed at the Hal Marshall Services Center.
But Mecklenburg County residents who had property damaged by flooding Aug. 5 can still apply for low-interest federal disaster assistance loans.
To apply, contact the U.S. Small Business administration at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov, (800) 659-2955 or https://disasterloan.sba. gov/ela/.
